Version 1: For this specific version of our film this was the original film that was approved when it was green-lit, the only thing that was the difference between this version and the submitted version was the climax music as well as the ending shot of the film before the credits roll. The reason why we changed this scene is because the close up shot of the mouth wasn’t readable and it’s also a very quick scene. In terms of the climax music we only changed it because when we got the feedback we were told that the background music wasn’t intense enough and it doesn’t reflect the overall mood of the scene.
Version 2 FINAL: For this version of the film this was the one we ended up submitting by fixing the scenes that we got critiqued on specifically the end scene as well as the background music in the climax. To fix the end scene we were recommended to do, instead of the close-up shot of the mouth, that we should keep the last composition from the previous scene and do the character a subtle smile as it gives a lot of breathing time in reflection of the previous events in the film. For the music part of the film we decided to increase the volume up a bit whilst also adding an another composition on top of it to give the background music a little more depth.
